Letting You Know Where I'm At (at home, on my couch, home with a sick kid)
Sharing half-formed, raw ideas out loud is a part of my thought process, as my friends could unfortunately confirm.
I started Stress & Love to get to talk to people about their experience in the sandwich generation - the chaos, struggles, lessons learned, and things they wish they could have done differently. I believe our collective experience and community are essential parts of self-care. And also, I just love talking to people. I think humans are infinitely interesting! So here we are.
I’m noodling on how to incorporate more opportunities for readers to ask questions and engage in dialogue around what they are struggling with. I want to know what would be most supportive and appealing to folks. My current thought is to create a paid tier for a second post each week that includes reader Q&As, exploring themes discussed in interviews, etc.
This is also where I will share resources and guides that I have developed for my coaching program around:
engaging in difficult conversations
advocating and communicating effectively
collaborating with family members
doing internal work around aging, death and dying
and more. so much more.
Is that something that you would be into? If so, send me a message or leave a comment!
Side note: I now include a link to my 6 Essentials to Spending Time with Extended Family in my welcome emails to new subscribers. Be sure to subscribe so you can access that document before the holiday season!
If you are already subscribed, and want the 6 Essentials guide, visit Sandwich Support Co to get your copy!
Know someone who is in the sandwich generation, and could benefit from the Stress & Love community? Send them the virtual hug of sharing this with them.

The idea of creating that paid tier for reader Q&As sounds realy valueable. As someone navigating family dynamics, I apreciate how you're thinking about what would be most suportive for your community. The topics you mentioned, especially around difficult conversations and collaborating with family members, are exactly what many of us struggle with daily.
